Doorhandles from 3rd eye $7.00 for the set I think??, Awhitu I've been there badge found upstairs he he, trunk op shop $2.50

thermos op shop $1, crocheted by me owl he he, tiki pendant 3 pack $2.50 from $2 shop yes ironic, Le Specs $20 on sale from Farmers
Sundae bowl I keep stuff in $2 shop, Iron man? figurine I won in a crane game he he, glass pendant present from mum from Aussie

I love orange.... not the fruit ( I only like orange the fruit) I love the colour or more specifically the colour on stuff! Why? because it makes it pop! it turns an otherwise rather ordinary object to an object with outta this world coolness! I never really liked the thought of orange clothing, always thought it was too much until I found this cardigan.... I got it from Mr Bo jumbles for $0.50 BARGAIN! The first time I wore it I got these horrible little orange balls of fluff rubbing off under the arms and it left orange fluff all over my black dress, I was so disappointed but I wore it again and to my enjoyment the fluff was less and the fluffy balls less. So in theory the more you wear it the less fluff?? or it is just slowly fluffing away until all that remains is the label....hope not. I wore this outfit to the dentist today for a checkup and it turned out to be the best day in a long while I need nothing done on my teeth!! I'm very happy and they gave me a free movie ticket woop woop! and then me and my mum went and did a little shopping at the op shops in puke where i picked up a few awesome things, and then she bought me some new school shoes because my others were falling apart literally! and they are very cute oxfords I will wear them out of school too he he. The other things in the photos are all the orange things in my room that I love, my new orange trunk I got from the op shop for $2.50 yay! and those awesome shoes you see I got those off trade me for $10.50 I really like then and they are actually my size which is a nice change :)

Holiday+Boredom = lots of interesting crafts

Fimo gem ring

fimo ear stretcher

cardboard clutch

fimo pendant

another fimo pendant

Fimo flower and fimo gem ring

fimo apple clock necklace

fimo stamp necklaces

fimo ring pendant

cardboard clutch

I refound my love for fimo as you can see. I will most definitely use all these (apart from the clutch) as they are super cool! My favourite item is the apple clock necklace (the clock face is from an old watch). The silver and blue thing is a cardboard clutch which is only usable in the summer hehe but i will probably never use it because I don't like using clutches because if I have to hold something I have the tendency to leave on any flat surface I come upon. I made the clutch out of cardboard covered with wallpaper it was going to be wallpaper on the inside, cardboard on the outside but it was too boring. I really like the button on the front which is a self cover button with the wallpaper on it , I was very happy when it worked as it was a gamble. The stamp necklaces i made by stamping fimo with my new stamps I got from mr bojumbles very easy and very nice. I also reaaaaly like the fimo gem spikey ring as it reminds me of dinosaurs and the colours are so impacting and its just so spunky! hehe I like the word spunky. The fimo pendants without chains I made by wrapping a blob of fimo in two other colours, and then denting it with my weapon of choice, then carving away the outside layer to reveal the super patterns inside! Hope you enjoy my creations and they inspire you :)

From Laura

What I'm wearing:
Top: From Laura
Skirt: From Laura
Shoes: The Warehouse $10 on sale
Heart Bag: Farmers $20 on sale
Hat: local opshop
Belt: local opshop

I was at my friend Laura's house (her blog http://shadowfeetlaura.blogspot.com/ ) she was clearing out her closet and I picked up these goodies. The skirt she altered in sewing class last year from a giant heinous one, oh and she added the red buttons that just make the skirt go POW! and the top she made aaaages ago it has a really nice pattern on the material. I love it when someone looks in your closet and
makes an outfit out of stuff you dont even consider wearing anymore because its old so all the excitement from it has gone. The hat is a recent purchase I got it from the local opshop for $1 or it may have been $2 it's a really really light pink looks cream until you look close and its furry! So thank you Laura for your kindness! you will be repayed with a brown dress with frills and flowers??

Boots

boots boots boots da na na na na na
boots boots boots na na na na na
shake your bootie oh!
shake your bootie yeah!
I have an obsession with shoes at the moment not sure why, I've never really been into shoes just always had one pair that I wore to death ( my orange/green/yellow keds) and all of a sudden I need a bazillion shoes well obviously I don't need them but I want them badly, BADLY. Sorry I'm going a bit shoe crazy (cornyness intended). I'm even into ruining my feet for the sake of shoes, I've gotten into the habbit of wearing size 7 or 8 shoes when im a size 9 (aaaah bigfoot) resulting in agony, foot shape disfiguration and did I mention immense pain but they do look fabulous well maybe not so fabulous because I'm hobbling. So I thought I'd share some shoes that I love with you beacuse today is about chocolate, I mean sharing love, on EASTER. And sorry for the behind views on the shoes but you can still imagine the coolness that is hiding at the front and admire the heel detail...

Brogues and Oxfords

The turban I wish to own

Not sure if these are considered oxfords mor kinda clog but I like them anyway

My future hair
What I need to make my wardrobe complete....alot of things but right now some oxfords or brogues. I'm having daydreams about me running and skipping through the dry fields in an autumn dress (one I do not currently own) wearing my oxfords with frilled mid calf socks a turban on my head and playing a flute......but dreams are dreams.....or aren't they?? In this case no, it's not a dream it's a reality or it will be soon, once i get my hands on some oxfords, a turban, some frilled socks, the abilitly to play a flute and this dress....Oh and im going grey...... intentionally! well a grey/silver/white colour not sure of the technical name but the colour of Pixie Geldof in the photo!

I seem to find something wrong with everything but these are my favourites so far....I dont like the entire dress of any, only bit and pieces like colours or detailing but thats a start!
